Infection Control

Infection control is not new in our office, but it is upgraded time to time. Our aim is strict quality management system for infection control with the demands of the regulatory agencies like OCCUPATIONAL SAFETYAND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION[OSHA],THE ENVIORNMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY[EPA], CENTERSOF DISEASECONTROL[CPC].

BARRIER CONTROL
Recommended by the centers for disease control,includes the use of mask, protective eye wears, gloves for each patient.

DISPOSABLE ITEMS
These are used wherever and whenever possible. They are always discardedonce used.

TOTAL STERILIZATION SYSTEM
Here steralization takes place in 5 phases -

• Water is purified in distill water maker to get 100%distill water
• Instruments are cleaned in ultrasonic dispenser with a special solution prepared in distill water maker. here cleansing is done by vibration method.
• Then the instruments are steralised in fullly automatic unique confident autoclave with both wet and dry cycle which gives complete vaccuum for complete steralisation of even spores of HIV ,HEPATITIS AND other viruses at a very high temperature of 134
• In this phase the fully steralised instruments are now kept in a U.V,CHAMBER specially designed to maintain their steralization by use of ultra violet rays.
• Just before use in patients the rootcanal instruments are further steralised in a glass bead steraliser at a temperature of 250 to complete the rootcanal in a single sitting.
